MR. PIETRO FERRACANE

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Pierto Ferracane on Tuesday, October 23, 2018; at the age of 98. Now reunited with the love of his life Brigida, Pietro was the beloved father of Gerry (Nina), Tony ( Gabrella), Maria and Danny (Emma). Cherished grandfather of Jennie (Dino), Brigitte, Nancy (Ronny), Steven, Gina (Neil), Chad, Christopher (Marla), Cinzia (Ignacio), Brian, Stephanie (Anthony), Katherine and Max. Devoted great-grandfather to Christian, Victoria, Gavriel, Sarah, Ava, Marco, Emily, Stefan, Sebastian and Noah. Pieto was a very hard working and devoted family man. He loved spending time with family and friends ; especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He could often be found in the kitchen cooking or in the backyard barbequing. He was strong-willed, always positive and believed in treating everyone with respect and dignity. He will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Visitation will take place at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge) on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church (100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge) on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
