It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pierina Pietrobon on February 20, 2025 in her 92nd year.

Pierina, predeceased by her loving husband Sergio in 2010, passed away peacefully with her loving children by her side.

She had hands of gold which made the simplest of garments into works of art and there was not an alteration she could not transform. Her sewing gave her life, which she did until the very end. Pierina was a beloved seamstress in the Woodbridge community and her kind, gentle demeanor touched a countless number of people.

As an active walker all her life, she was determined to live a long and healthy one and that she did until the end.

Survived by her three devoted children, Nadia (Rick De Vincenzo), Robert (Florence), Ernie (Luiza). Pierina was blessed with 11 loving grandchildren, Alana (Giancarlo), Erica, Adrian (Sara), Aundrea (Stefan), Jenna, Leah (Marco), Kristen (Billy), Stephen (Stephanie), Kevin, Adam and Megan. She was extremely proud and boastful of all her 11 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Alexander, Liv, Elle, Sofia, Stefan, Owen, Quinn, Gabriella and Kaia. She will be greatly missed by her brother Innocente (Anna), and her sister Luisa, as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025 at St. Margaret Mary Parish (8500 Islington Avenue, Woodbridge). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
