It is with profound sadness but also comfort to share that our dear mother, Phyllis, went to finally join our Lord in heaven on the morning of June 1, 2022, at the age of 86.

Daughter of Peter and Ruby Sinclair, beloved wife of David for 60 years until his passing in 2016, and loving mother of Lee Ann, Julie and her husband Sam, and Kim. Cherished Nana of Todd and wife Alyscia, and Casey and fiancé Eric, and especially adoring great-grandmother of Everly.

Above all else, Phyllis valued her faith and love for God. It was readily evident whenever she listened to a song of praise or an old gospel hymn. She would literally light up and be full of joy. Her extended family also gave her joy and we all benefitted from her love, support and guidance. We also benefitted from her humour, her story telling and positive energy that she would bring to every gathering. We do not know when we will recover from the loss of our mother, but every time we hear a gospel song or gather as a family or hear a belly laugh, she will be with us in spirit.

A private family celebration for our mother will be held. In lieu of flowers as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke and World Vision Canada would be appreciated.
