KINNON, Phyllis Ivy (March 17, 1908-March 28, 2011)
It is with deep regret but with thanks for a long and healthy life that we announce the peaceful passing of Phyllis Ivy Kinnon (Rutland) on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Roberta Place, Barrie in her 104th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel J. Kinnon and the loving and caring mother of her son, Bruce and his wife, Cathy. Dear Grandma of Stephen (Sharon) and the late Barbara and David Kinnon. Great Grandma of Shannen. Dear sister of the late Ruby Pimm and Bernice Love. She will be dearly missed by her niece June LaRose (Lory) and Nephew Ted Pimm (Barbara) and their families plus many other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 Noon at Ward Funeral Homes, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto. Burial will follow at riverside Cemetery, Weston. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff on HA 3 at Roberta Place for their outstanding care of Mom for the past 4 ½ years. In lieu of flowers, which Mom loved, donations in memory of Phyllis to the Hospital for Sick Children or the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
