Mrs. Phyllis “Jackie” Jones (Butler)

September 28, 1958 – January 5, 2024

Jackie passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 65 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived
by her adoring husband of 43 years Bryan Jones, her two daughters Kayla Jones and Samantha Johnson (Lincoln), her granddaughter Aria Johnson and her sisters Vivian Butler, Gloria Soper (Ross) and Colleen Claughton (Dennis). She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

She is reunited in Heaven with her parents John Butler and Clara Butler, her siblings Felix Butler (Susan) and Patricia Lawlor (Charles), and her son Adam Jones.

Jackie was born in Belle Island, Newfoundland and moved to Toronto, Ontario as a child where she met her soulmate, Bryan, and would later marry. Together they enjoyed traveling, time at the cottage with their family and spending time with their granddaughter Aria. Jackie was very crafty and was known for her knitting, baking and gifting her handmade baby quilts and dish cloths.

Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, located at 2035 Weston Road in Toronto on Thursday, January 11th from 4:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, January 12th at 1:30pm in the Weston Chapel with a Reception to follow.
