Peter Bourne

Retired Air Canada Captain
May 20, 1931 – November 17, 2016

Peacefully at Ian Anderson House after a brief illness.

Devoted Husband of 61 Years to Anne. Loving father to Julie, Terry (Cindy), Allison (Michael), Christine (Randy) and Iain. Cherished Poppi of Emily, Erin, Grace, Libby, Madeline, Nathan, Katie and Griffin. Predeceased by parents Roy and Dorothy, sister Wendy and granddaughter Annie.

Peter was born and raised on the family farm in Clarkson and was a long time Oakville resident. Dad always said he lived a charmed and happy life doing what he loved: flying, sailing, travelling and spending time with his family. Captain Bourne has taken off for his final flight, he will be deeply missed by friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 23rd from 5-8 p.m. and funeral services on Thursday November 24th at 11 a.m. at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville.
