Pearl Sutton

PEARL SUTTON (nee DOWN) Pearl passed away after a long illness in her sleep on August 18, 2009. Born on April 10, 1920 in Unity, Saskatchewan. Beloved wife of the late Vance Sutton and cherished sister to Ethel Tkachuk of Edmonton, Rena Moline of North Dakota, the late Evelyn West, and Bill Down and Dennis Down of Saskatoon, and sister and brother-in-law Ted and Marilyn Sanderson of Cannington, Ontario. She will be remembered as a loving, strong and steadfast mother by Susan and husband Robert Franceschini, and Sheila Wilkes, and special friend, Mary Jane Cochrane. Julia, Michael and Marie will miss their Nana's laugh, vivacity and joy. Special thanks to the staff at Westside Central Park Lodge at 1145 Albion Road, Rexdale for their kind and extraordinary care. Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221) on Friday, August 21, from 1:30 p.m. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m. Pearl would appreciate donations to The Children's Wish Foundation.
