PAULINE LUNDSTEDT (nee Litvenenko) of Bolton ON left us far too soon on July 17th, 2009 at the age of 74 in the Brampton Memorial Hospital.
Pauline was born in Saskatchewan on March 1st 1935 and graduated from Bedford Rd Collegiate in Saskatoon. She was beautiful with lots of friends and loved listening to Elvis on the juke box while she worked at her dad’s restaurant. But she was also restless. With a deep devotion to the bible at 18yrs she moved to Quebec and sacrificed a great deal to become a ‘full-time minister’.
Pauline later moved to Ontario to raise her family. At night school she continued her education to become a legal secretary and law clerk to help provide for her needs. She loved to care for others, her home & gardens. Pauline was very creative and enjoyed decorating her home, oil painting, cooking, downhill skiing, entertaining family & friends and international travel; but her visits back ‘home’ to Saskatoon were the most precious along with her family.
Pauline is survived by her husband Don, daughters Jacqueline & Pamela (John), grandchildren Kirsten, Desi, Theo, Priya & Niko; siblings Lawrence, Paul (Lauretta), Eva (Horace) & Victor. In addition to her parents, Mary & George, she was preceded in death by her brother Tony and sister-in-law Muriel.
A private memorial service for Pauline will be held in Oakville at the Ward Funeral Home on Sun July 26th. After years of pain & suffering she can rest in peace.
Many thanks to the nursing staff in the Palliative care unit who gave her such compassionate care.
