Pauline Campbell

Pauline Campbell (nee Kerr), age 71, of Brampton, Ontario passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Amica Peel Village.

Pauline was born on December 14, 1948 and grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She had many adventures as a child and young adult, including touring Ireland as part of an all girl pipe band, the Belfast Girl Pipers. Her greatest adventure was when she met Brian Campbell and they married on June 23, 1969. The day after their wedding, they were on a plane to start a new life in Montreal where they lived for 10 years and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In 1979 they moved with their two young daughters to Brampton, Ontario where they lived for the rest of their lives. In Brampton, Pauline volunteered at her daughters' schools, attended church and taught Sunday school at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed her career working in Human Resources at Nortel. In retirement, she loved spending time at the seniors centre line dancing with her sister. Pauline also cherished her many trips to Northern Ireland where she would spend time with family and enjoyed the place she always considered “home”.

Pauline is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brian Campbell and older brother, Benny Kerr. Pauline is survived by daughters Rhonda (Jeffery) and Christina (Samuel); grandchildren Kyle, Jillian, Leah, Alicia, and Noah; sisters Myrtle, Josephine, Jean, and Deirdre; in-laws Herbert, John, Sheilah, and Lorna; as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

Pauline was known for her fun loving and outgoing personality. She was often the life of a gathering and could be heard laughing and joking around. Pauline will be missed dearly by many friends and family in Northern Ireland and Canada.

Pauline will be laid to rest on Friday, September 18, 2020. Due to current gathering and travel restrictions, it will be a small private ceremony at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Montreal.
