Pauline Azzopardi

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pauline Frances Azzopardi (nee Zammit) surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at the age of 80 years.

Pauline was predeceased by her parents Paul and Therese Zammit, brother Joseph, sister Mary and her loving husband of 50 years, Joseph Azzopardi. 

Pauline will be deeply missed and forever loved by her son Keith, daughter-in-law Laura, and grandchildren Domenic, Matthew and Cristina. Pauline will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters Carmen, Josephine, Lily, Vicky (Silvio), her brother-in-law Fred, sisters-in-law Linda and Margaret, as well as many other family members and friends. 

Pauline was born and raised in Naxxar, Malta and moved to Canada with her husband Joe in 1973. After residing in Canada for many years, Pauline was proud to receive her Canadian Citizenship in 2007. Pauline enjoyed cooking traditional Maltese cuisine, baking and was a master of her craft of sewing. 

Pauline took great pride in her son Keith, and was equally proud of her 3 beautiful grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Pauline’s life was full of love, kindness and an unwavering faith in God. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.

 All are welcome to gather at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:30am, burial to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, 1570 Royal York Road, Etobicoke.
