Patrick Scarff

Patrick (Paddy) Scarff, son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Scarff, passed away peacefully at the age of 73, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family, on April 15, 2014. Sadly missed by his loving wife, Rita of 48 years, daughters Paula (Carl), Marie (Drew), Celine (Scott) and Patricia (Dave), and his eight grand-children Keira (Mike), Shaun, Carleen, Lily, Samantha, Matthew, Emilie and Sarah. Also remembered by family in Canada, England and Ireland. He was born in Dublin, Ireland, was a retired member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and an avid Chelsea Football Club fan. Friends and family will be received at Ward Funeral Home 52 Main Street South, Brampton on Monday, April 21st, from 2:00- 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral to be held at St. Anne’s Parish 115 Vodden Street East, Brampton, on Tuesday, April 22nd, at 12:30 pm. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga. A celebration of life will be held at Brampton Irish Centre, 20 Strathearn Avenue, Brampton, immediately following interment.
