ROONEY, Patrick - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick on July 28, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Agnes, daughter Patricia (Robin), son Andrew (Rosanna), son John, grandchildren Jessica, Alessandra and Elaina, sisters Rose and Kathleen, brothers Noel, Eamonn, Christy and Brian, sister-in-law Elizabeth and his many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston on Friday, July 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W.) on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully accepted.
