Patricia "Pat" Ryder

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Ryder on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the age of 82. She is now reunited with her late husband Lorne (2011). Beloved mother to Blake (Karen), Becki (Perry) and Brad (Lynn). Cherished grandmother of Kristie (Jake), Kelly (Kevin), Kyle (Maegan) and Samantha. Great grandmother to Emerson, Matthew, Luke, Wyatt and Molly. Pat was dedicated and hard working as one of the founders of ‘Road Master Construction’. She was respected by her employees and always treated staff just like family as she often said “the people you meet on the way up are the same ones you meet coming down”. When not involved in the family business Pat and her beloved Lorne loved to travel and they looked forward to their yearly cruises. She also loved the casino and often had that lucky streak that many of us dream of. Pat will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Flowers greatfully declined; however donations to the Alzheimers Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
