PATRICIA DOREEN BROWN (nee GILDAY) Peacefully, after a brave fight with cancer, Pat passed away at the age of 83 on February 23, 2010. Predeceased by her husband Wally, brother Harold and sister Margaret (Fitzgerald). Survived by her brother Bill and sister Ann (McBride). Cherished mother of Gary, Bob (Debbie), Ginny (Stuart Shaw) and Kathy (Bernd Angelow). Beloved Nana of Jeff, Stephanie, Justin, Scott, Sarah, Bill, Andrea, Ryan, Nicole, Melanie and Kyle. Dear great-grandmother of Alyssa and Stephen. Former Nursing Assistant at Humber Hospital. She will be missed and celebrated by all who knew her. The family is grateful to neighbours, doctors and nurses who helped so much. Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence), Weston on Saturday, February 27 from 2-4 p.m. Memorial Service to be held in the chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Camp Oochigeas or Terry Fox Foundation would be appreciated.
