Paolo "Paul" Morresi

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paolo (Paul) Morresi, who left us peacefully on December 25 2024, at the age of 91.

Born in Porto Civitanova, Marche, Italy on November 2, 1933, Paolo emigrated to Canada at the age of 18, determined to build a brighter future. In 1964, he founded his business, Municipal Mechanical Contractors, which he nurtured for 60 years with passion and unwavering dedication, leaving a lasting legacy in the community. In addition, he proudly founded You Go Rentals for 40 years, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence.

Paolo was a man of many talents and passions. A gifted musician, he sang and played both the accordion and piano and performed for many years as a member of The Mambos. Music was a great love in his life. Performing brought him joy and enriched the lives of those around him. In addition, he was an avid hunter and cherished playing cards with his friends at Club Abruzzi, where his lively spirit and camaraderie shone through.

Paolo is reunited with his late wife Connie, whom he cherished deeply. He leaves behind a loving family including his children: Rita (Elio), Mara (Frank), Sabrina (Fabio) and Ugo (Christine), his grandchildren: Alessia (Helder), Massimo (Amanda), Vanessa (Stephen), Andrew, Matteo (Emma), Leandro, Francesca, Paolo and Andrea and his great grand children Isla Rae and Augustus, as well as his brothers Giuseppe (Bepi) and Fabio who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Paolo lived a life filled with love, resilience and devotion. His warmth, humor and legacy will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

May he rest in eternal peace.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Church 5500 Major Mackenzie Dr., W. Kleinburg. A private family entombment will follow.
