Pamela Neilly (nee Bluck), RN December 12, 1955- January 28, 2017
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Pamela. She passed away peacefully at Bethell House Hospice on Saturday morning.
Pam is survived by Dale, her husband of 38yrs, sons Michael, Evan and Brett and daughter Kendal, son-in-law Ian Cass and their 2 beautiful girls Chelsea and Sadie, her granddaughters. Also her parents, Alex and Joyce Bluck, brothers Phil (wife Lynn) and Steve and sister Janet (husband Jim) Cassidy, Mother-in-law Rosalie Neilly and sister in law Catherine (Alan) Trimble and brothers-in law Kent (Kim) and Brent (Lin) Neilly.
Pam was a proud, passionate, gifted woman who was very dedicated to her family as well as her career as a nurse. She spent her whole working career caring for patients and their families at Peel Memorial Hospital, then Brampton Civic Hospital and St. Elizabeth Health Care community nursing. She was an avid quilter and produced many gorgeous quilts that will be used for comfort on cold dark days.
We owe many thanks for the great support and care Pam received from all the various Health Care professionals and staff at Princess Margaret, Orangeville Hospital and most specifically at Bethell Hospice in Inglewood where she received exemplary care and support during her last few weeks.
Our family would like to send a very special thank you for the love and support we received from our families, the nursing community, neighbours, friends and the absolutely unbelievable “zumba” ladies. Our faith in humanity, always strong, has been uplifted.
Visitation will be at Ward Funeral Home in Brampton on Tuesday, Jan 31 3-5 and 7-9. A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Brampton, 4 Elizabeth St N at 11:00 on Wednesday Feb 1 with a reception to follow. Cremation and Interment will follow at a later date.
For those that wish, memorial gifts may be made to Christ Church Brampton, 4 Elizabeth St N, Brampton L6X 1S2 or Bethell Hospice at www.bethellhospice.org
