Peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at her residence at the Village of Humber Heights in Toronto at the age of 85. Born in Montreal and married for 61 years, Pam was predeceased by her husband, Bill, just eight short months ago.
She will be deeply missed by her children Michael and his wife Betsy, Joanne and her husband Michael, and her grandchildren Jennifer, Drew, Lauren, and Alyssa.
For many years after Bill’s retirement, they spent summers in Ontario and winters in Jupiter, Florida. Pam could often be found with a novel on her lap and a glass of white wine with lots of ice close by. A perfect hostess who loved to organize parties, Pam was a great friend to many and would always stop to chat with everyone she met.
A private graveside service will be held at Burlington Memorial Gardens on January 20. Online condolences and memories may be shared with us through the Ward Funeral Home Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com.
If desired, donations to The Toronto Star Fresh Air Fund would be appreciated. Information is available at charityinfo@thestar.ca. We would very much like for you to simply raise a glass of wine, with ice, to our dear mom.
