GRANDO, Palmira (nee Papais) - On Monday, December 28, 2009, God called a very gentle wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, cousin and great friend home. Born 100 years ago in Chions, Friuli, her life was dedicated to God, her extended family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Villa Colombo Vaughan, especially the Casa Di Gasperis team. Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home- Woodbridge Chapel, 4671 Hwy. 7 (just west of Pine Valley Dr.), 905-851-9100, on Tuesday from 3-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 8500 Islington Ave., Woodbridge, on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 10 a.m. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Villa Colombo Vaughan would be appreciated.
