Goz, Ovidio (Vid)

Passed away at his home in Nobleton on February 27th , 2011 at the age of 70.
Born in San Giovanni di Casarsa, Italy he migrated to Canada in 1956 working as a general contractor and went on to establish his own successful Home Renovation Business. He took pride in every project endeavour and worked extremely hard to ensure he was providing each customer with superb results. Living a healthy lifestyle and keeping fit was also important. He enjoyed skiing, biking, the outdoors and travelling (vacationing) in his homeland of Italy.
Vid is survived by his son Dale Goz (Shirley) of Newmarket, Ontario,, grandchildren Logan and Ava Goz; sisters Olga (Guido) Valmasoni of Tai Di Cardore, Italy; Silvana (Aldo) Innocente of Casarsa, Italy; Ornella (Poppe) Cinat of Casarsa, Italy as well as several nieces and nephews residing in Italy.
Vid was predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Victoria Goz of San Giovanni di Casarsa, Italy. He will be sadly missed by his family and close friends, especially Olga Sevcik, as well as his many loyal customers.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (just west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Thursday, March 3rd from 7-9 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Friday in the chapel at 11 am.
Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, S. of Hwy 7)
