September 10th, 1925 – March 10th, 2017
Born on September 10th, 1925 in Porto Sant’Elpidio, Ottavio passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday March 10th, 2017 at the age of 91. Predeceased by Matilde, his loving and devoted wife of 66 years. Proud father of Roberta (Enzo) and Pasquale (Karen). Cherished Nonno to Federico (Amanda), Marybeth, Christopher (Tessa), Ryan (Alicia), and Melissa. Adoring Bisnonno to Gia, Amaya, Jaxon, Arianna and Dustin. He will also be sadly missed by the many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends he leaves behind in his beloved home country of Italy. Ottavio was a man from another era, one this generation could not understand, his life read like a storybook, including a short illustrious (according to him) acting career, but his love for his family and friends was his greatest joy.
Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge, ON (West of Pine Valley Drive) on Monday March 13th from 2-4p.m. & 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday March 14th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
