Orlando Bianchi

BIANCHI, Orlando Francesco - On September 22, 2009 at the age of 67, our beloved Orlando passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga. Loving husband to Catherine Bianchi (nee Apollinaro). Proud father to Ernest (Claudia), Joseph (Kelly) and Lisa; cherished Nonno to Joey, Alessia, Anthony, Olivia and Ava. Orlando was predeceased by his parents Ernesto and Emilia, brothers Carlo (Pierina) and Aldo, and is survived by his three sisters, many relatives in Italy, Canada and Argentina, his mother-in-law Concettina Apollinaro, nieces, nephews and countless friends. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. Since coming to Canada in 1960, Orlando had a successful career in the footwear industry. Orlando started off in retail sales then becoming a sales rep for several prominent Canadian manufacturers for the better part of 35 years and then becoming involved in the importing and distribution of footwear across the country. His strong work ethic and his personable approach made him a well-liked and well-respected individual which enabled him to achieve many successes throughout his career. Orlando always made time for his family and friends and enjoyed being in their company as much as they enjoyed being in his. Orlando will be fondly remembered for his generosity, warm heart and giving nature. He cherished the title of 'Mayor of Neiltree Court' bestowed upon him by his neighbours.
