Rosa Maria Oliveira, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on September 5th, 2023, in Newmarket, Ontario. She was born in São Miguel, Portugal, on October 19th, 1947. At the age of 18, she, along with her loving mother Eduarda and sister Mena, embarked on a journey to Brampton, Ontario, Canada, where they began a new chapter in their lives. This move marked the beginning of Rosa's lifelong commitment to family and community.
Rosa was known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She was the proud mother of Philip Oliveira (Monica) and the cherished grandmother of Mikayla and Ethan. She is also survived by her loving sister, Mena Oliveira (Joseph). Her love extended beyond her immediate family to her great nephews, Connor, Dylan, and Asher, and her niece and nephew, Tina DiMarco (Tony) and Joe Oliveira (Karen).
Throughout her life, Rosa embodied strength and selflessness. She was a pillar of support for her family and friends, offering reassurance and advocacy whenever it was needed. The visitation for Rosa will be held at the Ward Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel, 52 Main St South (Hwy 10), Brampton. on Friday, September 8th, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and again on Saturday September 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel
