After a long life, well lived in service and generosity of others, Olive Fern Wilby (nee McLachrie) passed away at the age of 101. Loving wife of the late Alfred William Wilby for 50 years. Dear mother of Cheryl Whitworth and her husband Ted, and Dan Wilby and his late wife Janet. Grandma of Sherri, Jamie, and Katelyn, great-grandma to Logan. She is predeceased by her sisters Gwen Gilroy and Joyce Beggs and survived by her sister Margaret Cote and brother George McLachrie.

Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road, on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 3:00-7:00pm. The funeral service will take place at the Weston Chapel on Wednesday, December 6th at 10:30am followed by the interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
