Olga Tschernow

Olga Tschernow (nee Budjak) was born in Mineralnye Vody, Russia on July 15, 1937 and passed away on September 25, 2022 in Toronto. She was predeceased by her husband Vladimir (Wally) 1999 and leaves behind her sons Greg (Joan), and Andrew. Olga will be missed by her grandchildren Laura and Kenneth (Christina). Olga leaves behind her sister Jean Hintz in Langley, BC, nephew Gordon Hintz in Surrey, BC, sister-in-law Cathie Tschernow in Winnipeg, MB and her niece Katherine Krawchuk in Vancouver BC. Olga was predeceased by her sister Lydia Krawchuk of Winnipeg MB, her niece Irene Stevenson (nee Krawchuk) and her nephew Richard Hintz. Olga was a wonderful and caring mother and grandmother. Her personality radiated love and kindness. Olga loved to entertain and she was a fabulous cook.

Thank you to all the caregivers and staff at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre (UCCC) in Toronto. Their dedication, support and kindness was so appreciated.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home , 2035 Weston Road, Weston on Friday September 30th from 4-8pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 1st at 9:30am in the Ward Funeral Home chapel. Burial to follow.
