Olga Battaglia

Passed away peacefully supported by her loving family on March 26, 2022. Loving wife of Joe. Beloved mother of Helena. Cherished daughter of Marisa (late Vincenzo). Dear sister of Joseph (Luisa) and Laura (Frank). Olga will be remembered by her nieces.

She was a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design in 1985 and was also accepted into the New York Off-Campus Programme. Olga has exhibited her artwork extensively in Ontario; her artwork has been featured in several corporate collections as well as in various publications. She was awarded first prize at the Peel Gallery for her artwork and has received many accolades in juried art exhibitions. She was a multimedia artist who worked in sculpture, installation, painting, and drawing. She was passionate about teaching both children and adults.

Olga’s legacy will live on through the countless people who she has influenced with her art and teachings.
