Noreen Evelyn Bowman (nee Osborne)

April 26, 1939 – January 2, 2018
Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Loving and devoted wife to James for over 56 years. Treasured sister to Diane, Sonny (Judy) and Alan (Linda). Cherished Aunt to her niece, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Min and Stan Osborne. Noreen was born and raised in Weston and returned in 1989 after living over 20 years in Brampton. She was a long-time employee of Air Canada where she made life–long friends. Noreen enjoyed cooking, music (listening and playing), travelling (especially cruises) and being an elder at Weston Presbyterian Church. Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (North of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston, on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A celebration of Noreen’s life will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ward Funeral Home. A reception will follow the service and the burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s society of Canada would be appreciated.
