It is with great sadness, that the family of the late Jeannie ( Nora Jean) Curtis announces of her passing, at her home in Brampton, Ontario on January 14, 2018 at the age of 66 years. Jeannie will always be remembered for her warm and loving spirit to all she met. She had a special fondness towards dogs and had many that she had loved in her lifetime. She is predeceased by her Mother, Myrtus Marie Curtis and her Father, Pastor Harvey Curtis, of the Pentecostal Church. Left with fond and loving memories is her common law spouse Helga M. Stewart, her brother Jim ( James/Greta) of Sudbury, Ont; her sisters; Elva ( Harvey) of Brampton, Ont; Olive( William) of Cox's Cove, NL., Patricia (Bruce) of Moncton,NB, Marilyn of the Phillipines, and Freda of Brampton. Also, leaving to mourn is her many nieces and nephews; Richard Curtis, Kimberly Curtis, Nancy Curtis, Kimberly and Victor Sheppard, Kyle and Kirk Banks. Great nephews; Cole Deloson, Ryan Deloson, Christian and Cameron Cooper. Step daughters Christy ( Jamie) Cooper and Connie Stewart. As well, as many family and friends and her dog KC.
As per Jeannie's last wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel" 52 Main St. South, (Hwy 10) Brampton on Friday, February 2, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brampton Humane Society and/or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated, in her honour.
