Nicola Stante

NICOLA STANTE It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nicola Stante on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Toronto Western Hospital. Deeply missed by his devoted wife Ida and his loving children Tony and Leonora. Loving brother to Attilio, Maria, Giuseppe (Nicoletta), Pierino, Donato (Dolly) and Rina (Michael). Much loved in-laws Valentina Natale, Nicola Natale, Teresa DiLallo, Fanny Natale, Ernie (Rose) Natale, Luigi (Gina) Natale and his many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Nicola was predeceased by many loving relatives Yola, Donato, Anna Maria, Domenico, Lidia, Biase and Joseph. Nicola was a strong, loving, compassionate man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed working in his garden and winter vacations. We would like to thank the medical staff at Toronto Western Hospital for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Drive), 905-851-9100 on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, September 14th at St. Roch's Church (2889 Islington Avenue) at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
