Nicola Marrone

Nicola Marrone, reserved in nature yet fiercely proud of his family. Passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024, in North York, Ontario. He was born on September 17, 1934, in Fossacesia, Chieti, Italy.

Throughout his life, Nicola worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He always put them first and ensured their needs were met. His commitment to the well-being and happiness of his loved ones was unparalleled.

Cherished husband of the late Emilia for over fifty-five years. Loving father of Renzo (Irene), Aurelio (Maria) & Claudio (Gloriana). Proud Nonno of Alyssa (Mark), Andre (Christina), Ava, Emma, Grace, Ella & Luca. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended family in Italy and abroad.

The void Nicola leaves behind is a testament to the profound impact he had on all of us. Yet, in that absence, we find the inspiration to live as he did: with compassion, integrity, pride, kindness, and boundless love.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge). Friends and family members are invited to pay their respects during this time. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Ward Funeral Homes, Woodbridge Chapel. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Thornhill.
