Suddenly after a brief battle with cancer, on Thursday April 28th, 2016 at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age 80. Beloved husband of Olga for 48 years. Loving father of Giuseppe (Joe). Dear brother of Antonio, Pierino, Maria, predeceased by his sister Lucia and brother Armado. Predeceased by his parents Giovani and Fiora Fresco. Nick was born on January 14th, 1936 in Creechio Comune di Ortona, Italy and immigrated to Canada on May 19, 1962 moving to Thunder Bay Ontario where he worked as a barber for many years. Then in retirement he moved to Toronto where he has lived for the past ten years.


Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Sunday, from 3-7p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Marguerite d’Youville Church 2490 Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton on Monday May 2nd, 2016 at 10:30 am . Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Brampton Civic Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
