Neyde Ching
November 1, 1932 – January 11, 2023

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family, friends, and caring staff at Holland Christian Homes in her 91st year.

Devoted wife to the late Mario Ching. Loving Mother to Ieda (Johnny); proud grandmother to Nathaniel. Neyde was born in Brazil to Japanese immigrants Motosuke and Kyoco, and was the youngest of six children. She met her beloved husband at University in Rio while studying to be a pharmacist. After three years of working in a local hospital, she and Mario welcomed their only daughter, Ieda.

Neyde was adventurous, and one of her favourite hobbies was travelling. Following the loss of her husband, she moved to Canada to live with her daughter. Her biggest pride in her life was her family, whom she adored whole-heartedly. That love also extended through to her friends, and even her pets, as she was an avid animal lover.

She is forever in our hearts, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel” on Monday, January 16 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. A service will be held at the Funeral Home at 12:00pm, with an interment to follow at Churchville Cemetery.
