BRAMPTON Neville S. Smith passed away peacefully on January 4, 2011 surrounded by family and friends.
He was born on January 1, 1940 in St Elizabeth, Jamaica and migrated to Canada in 1967. Neville was the third of four children born to Theophilus and Beatrice Smith, Nathan (deceased), Percy and Barry.
He was greatly involved in the community, working with United Achievers, Carabram & coaching little league baseball. Neville was a keen sportsman, playing cricket for Commonwealth, & Milton Cricket clubs. Committed to his role as a deacon at First Baptist Church, Neville had a great faith in God. He was best known for his kind heartedness, generosity as well as his infectious laughter and unforgettable smile.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years Martha, his children Christine, Marilyn, Devonia, Neville Jr. and Jacqueline; sons in law Gilbert, Howard, Ron and daughter in law Tiffany, 9 grand children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends .

His funeral service will be held on Saturday January 15, 2011 at St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main Street, South Brampton at 11:00 am. Donations can be made in memory of Neville Smith at the Canadian Cancer Society.
