Nancy Crawford

We announce with heavy hearts the passing of Nancy Jane Crawford (McIntyre) on July 16, 2022 at the age of 84. She is predeceased by her loving husband Don. Nancy is survived by her children Donald (Gladys), Geoffrey (Sandra), Susan (Dave) and Cathy (Kevin), her grandchildren Nicholas (Vitoria), Melissa (Evan), David (Shannon), Samantha, Victoria (Mark), Chase, Sarah, Sammy, her brother Norman (Lois) and her dog Riley. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a proud businesswoman and together with Don a loyal community supporter. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Nancy was a fierce bridge player, an antique collector and a world traveler. Even after her health declined she loved to play bridge with her friends at Amica Peel Village and regale her family with her travel adventures with Don and their good friends. A special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Brampton Civic Palliative Care unit and the staff at Bethell Hospice who helped make Nancy’s final days peaceful and restful. Our family is grateful for your kindness and gentle care of our mother. Family and friends will be received on Thursday July 21, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, Brampton. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at Ward Funeral Home on Friday July 22, 2022 at 11 am followed by a reception at Vesuvios Restaurant on 91 George Street South, Brampton. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Bethell Hospice.
