Muriel Sacerty

SACERTY, FREDA MURIEL

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Eden House Nursing Home (Guelph) in her 94th year. Muriel was born on August 21, 1921, in Orillia, Ontario - daughter of the late George and Diana Dicker. She is survived by her sons Barry Byers (wife Mary), Ron Reid (wife Brenda) and daughter Shirley Cook (husband John). Muriel will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Brenda Murphy (Scott), Todd Byers (Franca), Lindsey Reid (Chris), Aaron Cook (Alicia) and Nathan Cook (Christina); and her great-grandchildren: Kaitlin, Lauren, Ella and Luke.

Muriel grew up in Orillia and moved to Brampton in 1955. She was a homemaker and later worked as a Customer Service Clerk at Chainway Stores and Stripe Discount Store in Brampton.

Muriel is predeceased by her husbands: Graydon Byers, Arnold Reid and Jack Sacerty.

Muriel loved life and was blessed with a large circle of extended family members and friends. She had a very kind and loving nature and was loved by all who knew her.
