Mikhail Thompson

With sorrow in our hearts, we announce the passing of Mikhail Wayne Thompson on December 27th, 2024 at the age of 36.

A loving partner to Fiancée Camille and a devoted father and step father to Malachi, Mikhaila, Makayda Monèt and Amaya. He was a proud uncle to Jhemila, Dejanique and Danifa and will be missed by his sisters Petrina, Latoya, brother Rolando, his aunts, uncles, grandmothers, cousins and friends.

Affectionately known as Worl Orda to most, Mikhail was the life of the party. With his naturally charismatic nature his presence could not be denied once he entered the room. Mikhail was humble and kind with an infectious smile that warmed your heart. He took pride in spending time with his family and friends never missing a birthday or simple family dinner. Well known to the Toronto dancehall scene, Mikhail was a promoter who truly supported others and took pride in each event he hosted. He was made for the camera, never shy and never a dull moment when all eyes were on him. In true Mikhail fashion he made something out of nothing when he created the brand Top Jankro - a clothing brand that would soon become his legacy.

His kind hearted spirit touched all those he came into contact with and his bright light will continue to shine in his absence. The void he leaves cannot be replaced and is a testament to the profound impact he had on those who had the fortune of being in his company. He will be missed dearly but until we meet again, Fly High Mikhail.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Peel Pentecostal Tabernacle (2005 Countryside Drive, Brampton). Interment to follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens.
