On Wednesday, June 9th 2021, Michelina Narducci sadly passed away. She will be missed dearly and will be survived by her husband Nicola, children Nina and Sam, son-in-law Rene, and grandchildren Alessandro, Alessio, Natalia and Sarah. Michelina was born in a little town named Orsara di Puglia in Italy where she studied to become a seamstress. She spent her younger days taking care of her brother while helping her parents with household chores and at the family farm. In 1965 she immigrated to Canada with her husband by her side where she was welcomed by relatives. She dedicated her whole life to her family, working day and night at home and at work to give them a better life.
Later in life she spent most of her days talking to her family and closest friends, gardening, knitting and cooking/baking. All of her many talents will be missed but not forgotten as she shared them with her family and friends. She valued spending time with her grandchildren, feeding them as much as they desired, and laughing with them. She was the embodiment of a true matriarch as she made sure everyone was taken care of before worrying about herself. Beyond this, she was a no-nonsense type of person who kept the family in line by instilling her strong values and beliefs.
She will forever be loved and remembered as being generous, loving, thoughtful and full of life.
We will miss you Nonna.
