Ryan, Michael Anthony - “Mikie”
Passed away peacefully on Monday April 25th, 2022 at Brampton Civic Hospital, at the age of 85. Survived by his loving wife Teresa (nee Kudlacz) of 58 years, Mike was loved deeply and will be missed by his children Lisa (John) and Jennifer (Wenddell), his grandchildren Nathan and Brandon, close sister-in-law and brother-in-law Fran and Don Chillman, as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by both his loving parents Rose and Michael Ryan and his beloved sister Maureen Acri. Mike will be sadly missed by many of his close friends whose company he enjoyed on the golf course, attending Blue Jay games, bowling, and hosting barbeques at the family pool. Mike’s proudest role was being a devoted grandfather to his two grandsons, be it cheering from the stands at hockey games or just spending time with them laughing and watching movies. Mike will always be remembered as their number one fan.
Visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home 52 Main Street, South Brampton on Friday April 29th. 2022 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church 66 Main Street, South, Brampton on Saturday, April 30th. 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will take place following the service and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will take place in future. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Parkinson’s Canada and / or The Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
