Michael Pronyk

Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in Dunnville, Ontario. Mike was born March 28, 1937 in Arran, Saskatchewan to Steve and Kataryna (Smielsky) Pronyk. He followed his brothers to Toronto, Ontario in his early years where he worked at Seiberling Rubber Company followed by Goodyear Canada for many years until he took an early retirement and settled in Lowbanks, Ontario with his best friend and wife, the late Karin Faiola (June 2018). Mike truly lived life to the fullest and enjoyed fishing, hunting, owning and training harness race horses, time at the casino, as well as tending to a bountiful garden. Mike will be forever remembered by his family, friends, and others whose lives Mike touched. A visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, Ontario on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 12:00noon until service time at 2:00p.m. Reception to follow.
