Michael Bernard

Mike was born in Toronto March 16th, 1960. Predeceased by parents Larry and Reta Bernard and his brother Jim. He will be deeply missed by his siblings; Judi (Doug), John, Dave (Colleen), and Bob (Gabi). Uncle to Nancy, Erin, Vito, Courtney, Kristen and Brianna.

Devoted and loving father (concert chaperone, grill master, shopping bag holder, camping aficionado and back rubber) to daughters Shannon (Chris) and Stephanie (Scott). Harmonica mentor/ ninja protegé to his adoring grandsons Lucas and Isaac. Long tenured, loyal employee and valued coworker at Univar.

Mike loved playing hockey and golf, he was a lifelong hopeful Leaf fan and loved getting out into nature. Mike was quick witted, kind hearted and sarcastic. He never failed to bring a smile to anyone he encountered. Even throughout his final days he wanted nothing more than to crack a joke and lighten the mood.

Forever loved. See you on the other side dad.


Mike didn't want a service so we will be remembering him privately as a family.
