GRAY, Mert (Allan) - Passed away on April 11, 2010 at Etobicoke General Hospital in his 83rd year. Mert, best friend, sweetheart and wonderful hubby of Freda (nee Leadbeater) for 60 years. Precious Dad to Paul (Cathie) and Cynthia (Keith); and cherished Poppie to Robert (Shannon), Melissa, Amanda and Mark. Son of Tom and Susan Gray and son-in-law of Phillip and May Leadbeater, all of Seeley's Bay. Brother to Sandy (Doreen) Gray and the late Edith (Larry) Murphy. Brother-in-law to the late Lloyd and Thelma Leadbeater. Dear uncle to Wayne (Hildegard), Greg and Matthew, Carolyn (Alan), Marsha (Dave), Paula (Anton), Anna and Marg (Al). A dedicated and admired educator of many generations of Weston pupils over a career of 39 years. Passionate curler (2 eight-enders!) at Weston Golf & Country Club. Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home at 2035 Weston Road, Weston from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church, Weston or The Salvation Army.
