YOUNG, Mary Josephine Torrance (Kilpatrick)

May 15, 1929 – June 17, 2018


Mary’s long life journey on this earth has come to an end.

She now begins her heavenly life with the God she dearly loved.

Beloved wife of Gerry Young for over 64 years. Predeceased by

her parents Alfred and Mildred Kilpatrick, and her sister Sonia (Hitchcock)

Mary’s surviving relatives – Mark and Betsy Hitchcock and their children

Melanie (Scalon) and Jonathan. Mary lived her whole life in Brampton.

She worked at Ostranders Jewellers for 30 years. For the last 28 years Mary,

along with Gerry, were active members at Kennedy Road Tabernacle.

Mary is remembered as ‘a lady’ with a strong spirit and a very kind heart.

Her home was always open to people in need of a safe and loving environment.

Friends and family will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South

(Brampton) on Saturday June 23, 2018 from 12-1 pm. Funeral service to be held following
