OBITUARY MARIA (MARY) QUINTA STELLA TONELLI (Vagnini)

Words cannot begin to describe the sorrowful emptiness in our hearts for the loss of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, who lived selflessly devoted to what mattered the most – her family.

On Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in her 93rd year, at approximately 6:55 p.m., surrounded by her family, we lost a pillar of truth, courage and strength. Even though a stroke disabled her ability to walk seven (7) years ago, she remained avibrant and integral part of the family in every way.

We are so thankful for the time we have had in listening to her share her stories, and tobe able to give back a small semblance of how she dedicated her life to each of us. We are now the keepers of all her stories and traditions and will continue to share them.

Our Mother’s unwavering, unconditional love will be cherished by my brother, myself, her four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, friends and family who were embraced by her selfless loving heart each and every day.

Her legacy will forever live in the hearts of her children and their families, Rick (Algrina) and grandchildren Anthea and Ryan; Laura and grandchildren Dario (Katarina), Meagan (Ashley) and great-grandchildren Michael, Maria, Clare, Pia, Joseph, Ava and Jack.

Mom, may your soul soar beyond the unknown life that awaits each of us as you reunite with “Peppino”, your brothers and sisters, mother, father and all whose lives you touched who have predeceased you.

Even though wearing of masks or face coverings is no longer mandatory as per provincial regulations, the family has respectfully asked that their guest please wear a mask during the visitation and service.
