Mary Syrnyk

Mary passed away peacefully with dignity at the age of 86 on Wednesday October 28th 2015 after a short illness. Loving and devoted wife to Mike with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. Dear daughter of Jenny and Nick Serwa and caring sister of surviving siblings Ed, Adeline and Ernie and predeceased siblings Frank, Albert, Nestor and Eleanor Loving mother Ken (deceased) and Sherry, Beverley (Jim), Lorraine (John) and Darlene (Craig). Cherished Granny of Adam (deceased), Andrea, Deanna, Heather, Jim, John Michael, Erin, Ryan, Shonnah and Daniel. Mary is survived by loving great-grandchildren Sam, James ,Mikey, Ben, Brooke, Ashley, Ava and Jack. Family and friends were most important to Mary. She was a wonderful hostess, good friend, generous, kind and fun loving, with a gift for listening to the deep thoughts of her loved ones.

Mary loved children and her wishes were that in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto in her memory.
