HOLYK, Mary Rose (nee Burton) - Peacefully but demonstrating her great strength and passion for life, Mary left our world to join her new life with our Lord on Monday, July 23, 2012 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Lubomyr (Lou) for over 60 years and mother to Ann (Charles de Winter), Pauline (Bruce Bailey), Christina (Kevin Carney) and Yvonne. Lovingly remembered as Nani to Rebecca, Brandon, Robert, Mark, Danny, James, Kimberly, Bryan, Stephanie, Stephen, Daniel, Christopher and Great-Nani to Kaiya. Mary will always be remembered as a great lady who loved being surrounded by friends and family. No party could finish without our traditional "Family Picture". Her baking (with Lou) found its way into many people's hearts and homes. Her zest for life has passed into each and every one of her beloved family and friends. Visitation to be held at St. Elias Church, 10193 Heritage Rd., Brampton on Thursday evening 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elias.
