It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary in her 92nd year. Born in Paisley, Scotland, and later moved to Montreal with her family, she dedicated her life to her children. Beloved mom of Elizabeth, Michael, Linda (Graham), Christine and Laurie. A wonderful grandma to Maria, Kendra, Michael, Jessica, Brandon, and Juanita. Great-grandmother to Arianna. She is also survived by her brother Bill, and sister Margaret, and many nieces and nephews.A volunteer with the Father Dowd Home for over 20 years in Montreal, she dedicated her life to helping people. She will be greatly missed by all of us, as she was an exceptional person. Always laughing and singing. She also had a great love for animals. A big thank you goes out to all the people who helped to take care of her in these last few years. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Wyndham Manor in Oakville. They provided a lot of love and kindness, and loved to sing with her. Funeral Service to take place at Saint Matthew’s Parish on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place. Donations can be made to the Oakville Humane Society, the Montreal S.P.C.A., or the Alzheimer Society of Peel.
