Mary Chalmers

Chalmers, Mary (nee Mehedan) – it is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Chalmers at the Etobicoke General Hospital on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of George for 67 wonderful years. She will be sadly missed by her son Ron (Iolanda), daughter Patty (Walter), grandchildren Andrea (Marius), Darryl (Jodie), Ronnie (Jenny), Derek, Kelly and great grandchildren Ava, Ella, Lana and Ruby. We would like to extend our gratitude for all the support we have received from family and friends – a great tribute to a wonderful woman. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
