In Loving Memory of Mary Bell

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Bell (née Ciupka) on March 8, 2025, at the age of 76, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Toronto on February 7, 1949, Mary lived a life filled with kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her.

She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Jim, and predeceased by her parents, Frank and Nellie, as well as her brother, John, and sister, Annie.

A devoted mother, Mary leaves behind her sons, James (Joanne) and Andrew (Joanne), who will forever cherish her love and guidance. She was a proud and adoring Baba to Molly and Maggie, who brought her endless joy.

Mary’s love extended beyond her immediate family, and she will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Our little dog, Johnson, who kept her company every day, was a constant source of companionship and comfort in her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

 A private family service will be held.
