Passed away peacefully on a beautiful sunny day at Ian Anderson House, Oakville after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday August 9th, 2013 at the age of 70. Marjorie leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 51 years, Roland, and her children Steven (Tamara), Kenneth and Blair (Jennifer). Cherished and devoted Nana of Ryan, Tyler, Erin, Cameron and Drew. Marjorie is survived by her brothers, Jack (Agnes) and Malcolm (Donna) Minnis. Lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends. Marjorie’s greatest gift was her love and support she gave her family.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, “Oakville Chapel”, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 89 Dunn Street, Oakville on Wednesday August 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Ian Anderson House for their compassion and care.
