BUNTON, Marion Ruth (nee Smith) - (Former Salvation Army Officer served overseas with the Canadian War Services) With grace and peace on September 29, 2009 at The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre in her 90th year. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Wallace Bunton (December 2008). Predeceased by brothers Gordon (Ruth) Smith, Jack (Lorna) Smith and infant siblings Harold and Ethel. Marion leaves a rich legacy for her children Marilyn and Bram Hurd, Jim and Marilyn Bunton and Joanne Bunton; grandchildren Jennifer and Asif Khan, Jacqueline and Paul Dalton, James Bunton and Lauren Bunton (Scott Remila); great-grandchildren Meaghan and Matthew Khan and Emma Dalton. Friends may visit at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Drive), on Saturday, October 3, from 1:00 p.m. until a Service of Celebration in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. The family wishes to thank Mount Sinai Hospital and The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre's Palliative Care Team for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre, 650 Church Street, Toronto, Ontario M4Y 2G5 or a charity of your choice.
