Mario Nigro

Mario Nigro passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on March 6, 2020 at Humber River Hospital at the age of 87. Re-united with his beloved wife Michelina (August 2019). Proud dad to Jack and Rose (Ricardo). Cherished Nonno of Gabrielle, Jordan and Madeleine. Mario will be fondly remembered for his strength and determination in caring for his family.

Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. w.) on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 10am at St. Bernard de Clairvaux Catholic Church, 1785 Lawrence Ave. W. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
